Lesley · Ironman Triathlete

You can be the fittest you've ever been and still have it fall apart in the back half of the run.

I've lost count of the triathletes who've told me a similar story. Months of hard work, countless sacrifices, and it all unravelled on race day.

Sometimes it's their stomach shutting down on the run. Sometimes it's nausea, and then being sick. Other times, despite knowing the fitness was there, their legs had nothing to give.

The most frustrating part? It usually comes down to nutrition.

And nutrition is a race-day variable you can control.

When you control it, race morning feels completely different.

No second-guessing what to eat. No wondering whether your fuelling is actually supporting you.

You know exactly what you're taking and when. You know how to adjust it for a hot day or a cold one.

You know all of this because you've already tested it, in your own training.

So you get to do the thing you came to do: race.

Your race plan, personalised

Everything you'll eat and drink before, during and after race day, clearly laid out for you.

  • Carbs, fluid, sodium and caffeine across the whole race
  • Your carb-load protocol and your race-morning breakfast
  • Built around your race, your gut, your pace, and the products you actually want to use
  • The reasoning behind every number, so you know why it's there and what to do if conditions change
  • Unlimited revisions by email, right up to race day

How it works

1

Buy your plan

One payment of $250. No subscription or additional payments required.

2

Fill in your form

You'll go straight to a detailed form that asks about everything I need to know to build you a personalised plan.

3

Get your plan within 5 working days

I read everything and build your race plan personally. Every plan is written from scratch, so no boiler plates here.

4

Test it, then refine it

Take the plan into a long ride or a brick session and email me what happened. If it needs adjusting, I'll revise it. As many times as you need, right up to race day.

I don't have brand deals with nutrition companies, so any recommendation I make will be based on what is right for you.

If you have a preference on which products to use, I'll build your plan around them. If you need suggestions, I'll make them based on your current experience and your likes and dislikes.

Is this right for you?

A good fit

  • You're racing 70.3 or full Ironman distance
  • Your race is at least two weeks away
  • First-timer or chasing a PB. Every plan is personalised and previous experience isn't required
  • You want a plan built around you and proven in your own training
  • You want a Registered Sports Nutritionist who specialises in 70.3 and Ironman

Not right now

  • You're racing sprint or Olympic distance
  • Your race is less than two weeks away. There isn't enough time to test a plan properly, and an untested plan is the thing we're trying to avoid
  • Your main goal right now is everyday eating, general habits, or losing weight. That's what The Hub is for, and you'd fit right in

I learned this the hard way

MSc, Registered NutritionistSport & Exercise Nutrition · SENR

My own first 70.3 taught me the hard way: you can be in great shape and everything can still unravel. Mine did, spectacularly, and it sent me down a rabbit hole to work out what actually holds up for triathletes.

That became a Masters in Sport and Exercise Nutrition, Registered Nutritionist status with the SENr, and over a decade working in healthcare alongside it.

Since then I've worked with over 100 triathletes, from first-timers to professionals, on exactly the problem this plan solves.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm doing my first 70.3 or Ironman. Is this too advanced for me?

No. First-timers are one of the most common athletes I write plans for. You don't need any race history, and there's nothing to keep up with. You fill in the form, I build the plan, and we test it together.

I've raced these distances for years. Will it be too basic?

No. The plan is built from your form, not from a template. If you're already fuelling well, the work goes into the gaps: your carb ceiling, sodium in the heat, or whatever has been costing you time.

How quickly will I get my plan?

Within five working days of your form arriving.

What if I want changes?

That's fine! Test the plan in training and let me know if anything doesn't work properly. There's no cap on revisions and no extra cost, right up to your race.

How do revisions work?

Email. This keeps things simple and gives you a written record you can go back to.

What if my race is only a few weeks away?

Two weeks is the minimum. Any closer than that and there isn't time to test the plan in training, which is the part that makes it work. If your race is inside six weeks, say so on the form and I'll prioritise it.

Do I have to use specific products?

No. Tell me what you already own and I'll build around it. If you'd like recommendations, you'll get them, along with the reasoning.

Do I need a coach or a training plan already?

No. Your plan works alongside whatever training you're doing, self-coached or otherwise.

Do I need any software to make this work?

No. Everything happens through the form and email.

What happens after my race?

The plan is yours to keep and reuse. Support finishes at your race day, so there's nothing to cancel and no rolling payment.

If you want ongoing support, that's exactly what The Hub was built for, and you'd be very welcome.

Can you help with my everyday eating or my weight?

Not through this plan. This one is focused on race day.

If you want ongoing support, that's exactly what The Hub was built for, and you'd be very welcome.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If the plan I send isn't what you hoped for, tell me within 14 days of receiving it and I'll refund you in full.

After that the revisions take over. Test it, tell me what happened, and I'll keep adjusting until it's right.
